Synopsis of "Santa Fe Life"
"Santa Fe Life" by Joseph Jett (photographer) and Dr. Janice Lombardi (writer) is a book of intriguing “looks”. Joseph Jett’s photographs of the authentic people and places of Santa Fe unveil a stunning “look” into what makes Santa Fe and northern New Mexico so unique. The book features examples of Pueblo Revival homes in the historic district, the Santa Fe Indian Market, the international art galleries of the city, the historic museums and churches, as well as the young cowboys and cowgirls of the rodeo. All of these and more are captured in this composite collection. The impressive photographs tell the story of "A City Different".
Additionally, Dr. Janice D. Lombardi wrote the explanatory text surrounding the photographs and interviewed notable personalities from northern New Mexico who are included in the book. Each shared their life’s works, their hearts, and minds, as well as their roots in the Southwest. The interviews are representative of the many artists, craftsmen, and artisans that make Santa Fe and northern New Mexico their home. Santa Fe is a beacon of the arts and Santa Fe Life is an excellent visual synopsis of the region.
